Hightower Trail Middle School Book Swap

The Book Ends book club, partnering with the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl club, will be sponsoring our   First Book Swap of the year on November 4 beginning at 8:15 in the Media Center.

Students wishing to participate can bring in gently used, middle school appropriate books to the atrium on the mornings of November 2nd and 3rd. For every book students bring in, they will receive a ticket for one book that’s new to them (not necessarily brand new, but it’ll be a book they didn’t have before!) Students will trade in their tickets for books on November 4 from 8:15 – 9:10 in the media center. At the end of the swap, we’re going to donate a portion of the remaining books to schools in need. Cool huh? Students get a book that they haven’t read before and someone who didn’t have books at all is going to get one. That rocks!
