Art Exhibits Feature the Work of Cobb Students

Exhibits will be on display in Acworth, Marietta and Kennesaw.

A pair of upcoming visual art exhibits are putting Cobb students' creativity on display. 

Artwork by students from north and northeast Cobb will be showcased at the "Area 4 Visual Impact Art Exhibit" on Jan. 11-26 at Gallery 4463 in Acworth, with an opening reception on Tuesday, Jan. 14,  from 6 to 9 p.m. 

Gallery 4463 is located just across the railroad tracks from Main Street at 4463 Cherokee Street in Acworth.

Meanwhile, the "Inspired by the heART" show features the creative work of Cobb students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. From Jan. 30 to Feb. 3, the exhibit will be hosted by the Charles D. Switzer Public Library (formerly known as Central Library) at 266 Roswell St. in Marietta, with an opening reception Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. "Inspired" will also be on display Feb. 4-28 at the Big Shanty Art Station in Kennesaw.
