Addison Foundation Awarded Grants

The money will benefit physical education, horticulture and kindergarten programs at the Northeast Cobb elementary school.

The Addison Elementary School Foundation has awarded grants to each grade/special as follows:

  • $200 for Coach Golden to attend a physical education conference.
  • $200 for art teacher Jayne Hebert to purchase native plants and heirloom seeds to support the study group action plan.
  • $500 for the kindergarten to purchase additional software for Promethean boards that target common core standards.

Each year the Foundation grants money to each grade and each special (art, music and PE) to help fund enrichment materials. This is in addition the Foundation-funded science lab support.
