Weekend Road Work in Northeast Cobb
A few continuing projects may result in delays Saturday and Sunday.

Wade Green Road to Canton Road
Saturday, Aug. 3 through Friday, Aug. 9. Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with one lane open while the contractor installs storm drainage, curb and gutter, water main, and utilities.
New Chastain Road Westbound Bridge Replacement
The replacement of the westbound bridge on New Chastain Road over Noonday Creek will result in closing the westbound lanes for four months, or longer, beginning this summer. Westbound traffic will be detoured to the eastbound bridge, which will provide one lane in each direction during construction.
The contractor is planning on working Saturday, Aug. 3 drilling pilot holes and placing rip rap but not planning to work this Sunday, Aug. 4.
Timber Ridge Road Sidewalks Construction
Project consists of installing sidewalk on the north side of Timber Ridge Road. A pedestrian bridge will also be installed as part of the project over Timber Ridge Branch.The contractor is planning on working Saturday, Aug. 3 removing formwork but not planning to work Sunday, Aug. 4.
No work is planned for the weekend on the Shallowford Road sidewalk construction project and the Steinhauer Road sidewalk projects at Rocky Mountain Road
