Cobb's Comprehensive Plan Up For Review
Citizens can attend two public hearings and view amendments online.
Cobb citizens will have the chance to chime in on the county's Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map, which is updated annually.
The proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendments for 2014 are available and can be viewed on the county's web site at comdev.cobbcountyga.gov.
Two public meetings will also address the proposed changes. The Planning Commission will hold a hearing at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7, at the Board of Commissioners meeting room at 100 Cherokee St., Marietta. The Board of Commissioners will then hold the final public meeting at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 21, at that location.
