Cobb County Animal Control Offers 'Christmas Kitties'

All cats at the Cobb County Animal Control shelter have special adoption fees from now until Christmas.

In an effort to encourage adoptions of cats and avoid euthanasia, (CCAC) has initiated a “Christmas Kitties” program.

As of today, CCAC has over 200 cats housed in the facility--twice as many cats that the shelter is meant to hold. All cats in the facility will be available for a $50 adoption fee instead of the normal $110 fee.

If there is a Santa cat on the shelter cage card, these cats' adoption fees are even lower or available for no charge. These cats are typically five years or older, and/or have been at the shelter for over three months. All cats are still fully vetted and spayed/neutered.
