Advance Voting This Week

Presidential primary and Sunday alcohol sales balloting continues through Friday at the East Cobb government center.

Northeast Cobb voters who want to cast their ballots early in the Georgia presidential primary and the Cobb Sunday alcohol sales referendum can do so all this week.  

Advance voting began Monday at the and continues through Friday. Citizens may stop by the center, located at 4400 Lower Roswell Road, between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

  • South Cobb Community Center, 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

  • Northstar Church, 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
    3413 Blue Springs Road NW, Kennesaw
  • Boots Ward Recreation Center, Lost Mountain Park, 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
    4845 Dallas Highway, Powder Springs
  • Cobb Elections main office, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
    736 Whitlock Ave., (West Park Government Center) Marietta

There will be no voting on Monday, March 5. 

The official voting day is Tuesday, March 6 at traditional polling stations. Georgia voters will be voting for presidential candidates in the Republican primary, which has on the ballot four candidates: Former East Cobb House Speaker Newt Gingrich; former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney; former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum; and Texas U.S. Rep. Ron Paul. President Barack Obama is unopposed on the Democratic primary ballot.

Voters in unincorporated Cobb also will be voting on a referendum that would allow for the Sunday sales of alcohol at retail locations.
