Two Acworth teens face charges in connection with the incident.

Two Acworth teenagers face charges after a woman robbed of $140 last month in Northeast Cobb was dragged 50 feet by a vehicle, according to arrest warrants.

About 6:03 p.m. July 16, Connor Patrick O'Brien of Acworth allegedly went to the woman's residence at the U Pointe Kennesaw to borrow money, according to one arrest warrant.

"The victim obtained an envelope containing approximately $140 and was prepared to remove $20 to give to the accused," authorities said. "The accused allegedly snatched the entire $140 from the hands of the victim and fled her residence on foot. The accused then jumped into the bed of the co-defendant's waiting vehicle and they fled the scene."

Jonathan A. Stouder of Acworth is listed in another warrant as the alleged getaway driver of the 2004 Ford Ranger.

"The victim was holding onto the vehicle after she was robbed by an additional occupant of the vehicle, causing the victim to sustain several lacerations to her face and legs," according to Stouder's warrant.

O'Brien and Stouder surrendered to Cobb authorities Saturday. O'Brien was released the same day on $15,000 bond. He faces one count of robbery. Stouder was released Tuesday on $15,000 bond. In addition to robbery, he faces one count of reckless driving.
