Marietta Fish Market Server Charged

David Lavone Bates was arrested at the Northeast Cobb restaurant and charged with identity fraud.

A server at the Marietta Fish Market was arrested this week on multiple charges of identity fraud.

David Lavone Bates of Northeast Cobb allegedly collected numbers, expiration dates and security codes associated with the Visa credit cards of six customers "without (their) knowledge or consent," according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.

Cobb County Sheriff's deputies arrested him about 12:45 a.m. Monday at the Northeast Cobb restaurant, according to online jail records.

He was taken to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center on charges that include six counts of identity fraud.

He was released just after 2 a.m. Friday on a $10,000 bond, records show.
