SUV Crashes into Northeast Cobb Dollar Tree

The driver experienced chest pains before the accident Friday morning, Cobb police said.

Don't let it be said that Northeast Cobb residents lack perspective.

While workers behind caution tape were assessing the repair job at the Dollar Tree store Friday afternoon, the Woodstock Road store remained open.

People continued going in and out of the store. A few people stopped and stared at the gaping hole, but most just walked through the undamaged door and went about their shopping.

An SUV crashed into the Dollar Tree store on Woodstock Road around 10:25 this morning, according to the .

Cobb police said the woman, 56, was driving in the 4600 block of Woodstock Road when she had chest pains and lost control of the SUV, WSB-TV reported this morning.

The woman was taken to a hospital.

No injuries were reported inside the store, 11Alive reported.

The store is in a shopping center on Woodstock Road between Sandy Plains and Mabry roads.
