Severed Deer Head on Shadowood Driveway

Cobb County Precinct 1 and Precinct 4 police blotters, and felony arrests.

Cobb County Precinct 1 Update Jan. 15, 2011 

Jan. 14, 2:20 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. A white male was seen placing DVDs in his jacket and under his arms at the Walmart on Chastain Meadows Parkway. The man was confronted by store security while trying to leave at the front door and began to fight with store security and ran out the door. The man fled the store and got into a brown Toyota, possibly a Corolla or Camry. While he was fighting with store security, he dropped his cell phone, jacket, and three of the DVDs that he had in his possession. Witnesses looked through the phone that the suspect dropped and identified the suspect from pictures on his phone as the same person that had stolen the DVDs. A warrant was issued for the suspect.

Jan. 14, 12:25 p.m. - 12:35 p.m. A victim's wallet was stolen at the Georgia Department of Labor on Big Shanty Road. Victim advised he had his wallet in his jacket pocket and it fell out when he got up to go to counter for his claim. A black male between 20 to 30-years-old wearing a black / white jacket and red hat grabbed the wallet from a four-year-old who found it on the floor and ran out of the building. A credit card was used at the Texaco nearby.

Jan. 13, 1 p.m. A window at a residence on  Parliament St. was damaged. No signs of forced entry, ransacking or looting. The damage to the window was that of a circular hole. The window was still locked.

Jan. 13, 1 p.m. Black male stole victim's iPhone after it was left at the cash register at the Kroger on Canton Road.

Jan. 12. Officers noticed that persons unknown had spray painted gang graffiti on the rear of Old Time Pottery on Canton Road. The graffiti consisted of a pointed star and a pitchfork.

Jan. 4, 8:20 a.m. - 8:40 a.m. When the victim arrived at his residence on Dickson Court he observed the window to the rear entrance door to be smashed and the door to be open. Eight black t-shirts, three knifes, and a Wii Game System (still packaged in its original box), were stolen from the residence.

Jan. 3, 1:30 a.m. While employees where still in the Taco Bell on Canton Road, an unknown suspect broke into the drive through window and stole the cash register. Several employees ran after the suspect who was described as a teenager about 5`10" and approximately 160 lbs. The suspect dropped the cash register and ran away.

Jan. 3, 12 a.m. - 1 p.m. A neighbor noticed that forced entry had been made to a victim's residence on Dickson Court. Victim was unable to determine what was missing in the burglary.

Dec. 31, 2010, 11:02 a.m. A Scott Road victim had found the lock on the playhouse to be pried open and a window screen cut around 10:30  a.m. The Niko safe was kept in the playhouse and it contained two hundred dollars.

Cobb County Police Precinct 4 Update Jan. 5, 2011

Jan. 10 - Jan. 11. An air conditioner unit was stolen from a Lower Roswell Road property.

Jan. 4, 5:28 a.m. - 5:45 a.m. The door to the West Commons leasing office was kicked in and the rental payments taken from the drop box.

Jan. 4, 1:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. A collector’s basketball was stolen from the JT Sports store on E. Piedmont Road.

Jan. 3, 2 a.m. Fireworks were set off inside a mailbox at Perrington Place.

Jan. 3, 8 a.m. - 6:15 p.m. Entry was made via a sliding glass door to a Lullingstone Drive home. A Christmas card and photograph were taken. An ex-girlfriend is suspected.

Jan. 2, 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Victim on Cynthia Court reports a wallet stolen from her purse. She suspects her friend.

Jan. 2, 5 a.m. - 5:15 a.m. A resident living on Northpoint Drive had unknown males visiting at the residence and they stole several items.

Jan. 2, 3:09 p.m. - 3:20 p.m. A white and silver ice cube freezer was stolen from outside of Barista Coffee located on Lower Roswell Road.

Jan. 1 - Jan. 2. Approximately 24 guns, primarily rifles and shotguns of various makes in addition to 5000 rounds of ammunition were stolen from an unoccupied estate on Twin Lakes Way. Entry was made through a window.

Jan. 1, 10 p.m. - Jan. 2, 9:45 a.m. Someone placed a deer head in the victim’s driveway on Shadowood Drive. 

Dec. 31, 2010, 11 p.m. - 11:20 p.m. A silver Honda was keyed on Sandy Plains Road.

Dec. 31, 2010, 10 p.m. - Jan. 1, 9 a.m. The front door of Consumers Choice Automotive on Lower Roswell Road was kicked in but nothing appeared to be taken.

Dec. 29, 2010 - Jan. 3. Victim previously reported a theft of catering trays from A Delightful Biteful company vans located on Sewell Mill Road. Suspect has now stolen the hot boxes.

Dec. 28 - Dec. 30, 2010, 6 p.m. - 7:47 p.m. Victim visiting a home on Atlanta Country Club Drive for the holidays reported a gold bracelet was stolen. The domestic help is suspected

Dec. 28, 2010 2:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Victim reports that his PSP was taken from his coat pocket while at JCC Beauty on Canton Road. He suspects another employee.

Dec. 24 - Dec. 26, 2010, 4 p.m. By means unknown someone entered the victim’s apartment at Lantern Ridge Drive and stole two filing cabinets containing the last 10 years of tax returns.

Dec. 11 - Dec. 31, 2010. Victim reported that someone from the mortgage company forced entry to the property on Shallowed Road prior to foreclosure and took some of his items.

Larry Nathaniel Cook of Marietta, false imprisonment, confinement; battery substantial harm; and 911 obstruction.

Sara Diane Brimer of Marietta, possession of cocaine.

Antonio Lee Millines of Marietta, intent to distribute cocaine; and intent to distribute marijuana, felony.

Rodrigo Rojo-Sanchez of Marietta, aggravated assault article; battery, family violence; cruelty to children, third degree; and simple battery harm.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation Felony Arrests

Anthony Peter Long of Marietta, false imprisonment, detainment; and impersonating an officer.
