Police Host National Night Out Event
The public is invited to this event that promotes crime prevention and strengthens police-community partnerships.
Officers from the Cobb County police department will mingle with the public tonightto promote National Night Out at the Target located at 3040 Shallowford Road.
The annual event, now in its 28th year, generates support for anti-crime programs and police-community partnerships, and promotes crime prevention.
The event will take place at the Target store parking lot from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to ask police officers questions during the event. K-9 Units and police vehicles will be on-site. Children will receive stickers, coloring books, trading cards and more.
