Man in Critical Condition After Early Morning Shooting near Midtown

A 22-year-old man is reportedly in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital after being attacked and shot in a parking lot near Midtown early Thursday morning.

According to Atlanta Police spokesperson Kim Jones, at around 12:40 a.m. two men were looking for their car parked at the Cityscape at Midtown apartments when they were approached by two men. During what authorities say was a robbery attempt, the victim was shot once in the upper chest and once in the left arm. Read more on Midtown Patch.

A Georgia Tech student was allegedly the victim of an armed robbery late Wednesday evening, one of two reported crimes on the Midtown campus Wednesday being investigated by the Georgia Tech Police Department (GTPD).

Drunken Woman Exposes Herself, Licks Restaurant Patrons

A drunken Dacula woman ended up in jail after a night of attempted debauchery at two local restaurants.

Gwinnett County Police were dispatched to El Jinete on Liam Avenue at approximately 7:14 p.m. on Dec. 1 after the manager called to advise a woman, later identified as Jana Lawrence, 46, of Dacula, had exposed herself to his customers. The manager said Lawrence left the restaurant and began walking toward Dacula Road. Read more on Dacula Patch
