Intruder Vacuumed and Stole Lingerie

Cobb County Police Precinct 1 Updated Feb. 15, 2011

Feb. 2, 9 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. Persons unknown entered the victim's Colonial Grand apartment on Barrett Creek Blvd. by unknown means and vacuumed and stole lingerie. She does not have any suspects other than apartment personnel.

Feb. 6, 11:20 a.m. - 11:24 a.m. An unknown white male driving a red Chevy or Ford truck with a black brush guard and black tool box and aftermarket wheels, tampered with the gas cap on a Dorton Company truck parked on Canton Road. There is video surveillance available.

Feb. 5, 11 a.m. - 6:41 p.m. The front, bedroom window of a Bells Ferry Road home had been pried open. A gold necklace with a cross and his wedding band had been stolen.

Feb. 4, 3:10 a.m. - 3:14 a.m. Victim was awakened at 3:10 a.m. by the sound of slamming car doors coming from Fairington Drive. She looked out the window and observed a skinny white male with short hair standing at the passenger door of her Neon that was parked on the street. She and her friend went outside. The male was gone. The passenger window of her car was smashed out. Her black and multi-colored Vera Bradley purse that was either in the front passenger seat or back seat was missing. While outside, she noticed a blacked out dark green or dark-colored, older boxy style car that was running.

Feb. 3, 4:08 p.m. A homeless male was sleeping inside of a vacant office building on Canton Road. The building is currently vacant and owned by Centro Properties Group. A bystander saw him sleeping on the floor and described him as 6' tall, 200 lbs and in his 40`s with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a black jacket over it. The male left and walked towards Canton.

Feb. 3, 7 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. An unknown individual, most likely a male, came to the female victim's house located on Willard Drive unannounced, and rang her door bell several times. No one was supposed to be at her house at this time of night. The  victim felt very unsafe. The individual was wearing a hooded jacket. She could not see his face but thought he had on a red shirt under the jacket.

Feb. 9, 9:30 p.m. - Feb. 10, 8 a.m. A vehicle parked on Sandford Drive was entered via unknown means. Two debit cards taken.

Feb. 9, 11 p.m. - Feb. 10, 9 a.m. 020911 2300 hours – 021011 0900 hours – A window on Hedgerow Drive was shattered but nothing taken.

Feb. 9, 5 p.m. - Feb.10, 4:15 p.m. Unknown person took tools from the carport of a home on Blackwell Road. 

Feb. 3, 11:25 a.m. - Feb. 11, 11:25 a.m. A large quantity of various metal items and a midget race car were taken from 2008 Canton Road.

Feb. 4, 12 a.m. - Feb. 9, 12 a.m. The victim’s vehicle was towed to 2328 Canton Road for repairs. When she picked up the vehicle all of her belongings were missing.

??? - Feb. 7. An unoccupied house on Jamerson Way was entered and medication was taken. 

Feb. 7, 8:15 a.m. - Feb. 8, 1:39 p.m. A car parked on Millhouse Landing has its window shattered. Loose change and a Lotto ticket was taken. 

Feb. 5, 6:30 a.m. - Feb. 6, 6:30 a.m. Bales of cardboard were taken from behind the Big Lots, 2932 Canton Road. 

Feb. 6, 3:23 a.m. - 3:25 a.m. Forced entry was made into Evolution Energy Group, 3225 Shallowford Road, and a fire was started.

Feb. 4, 9 p.m. - Feb. 5, 8:15 a.m. The following car break-ins happened:

N. Landing Court. An unlocked vehicle was entered but nothing taken. 

N. Landing Trace. An unlocked vehicle was entered but nothing taken. 

N. Landing Trace. An unlocked vehicle was entered and an iPod and Laptop were taken.

N. Landing Place. An unlocked vehicle was entered but nothing taken. 

N. Landing Way. An unlocked vehicle was entered and a change cup taken.

N. Landing Place. An unlocked vehicle was entered and a Netbook and camera taken.

Feb. 3, New Life Baptist Church located at 4010 Canton Road reported the gutters and roof vent were damaged in an apparent theft attempt.
