Cobb County authorities arrest Angela Lafferty on drug charges at Pulaski State Prison.
A Northeast Cobb woman released from prison Sunday got a free ride back to Cobb County—straight to the county jail.
Angela Celeste Lafferty, 53, of the 2800 block of New South Drive completed her prison term for shoplifting in Cobb County, only to be arrested at 10:30 a.m. Sunday on four felony charges upon her release at Pulaski State Prison, according to records.
Lafferty is charged with violating the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, which carries a prison term of five to 20 years, and three counts of possessing, selling, purchasing or manufacturing a controlled substance.

The offenses and the warrants date back to March 2009, according to the jail booking information.
Bond was set at a total of $30,000.

Lafferty was in prison from Nov. 2, 2009, until Sunday for theft by shoplifting, a crime she committed Aug. 2, 2008, in Cobb, according to state Department of Corrections records.
Those records say she also has used the names Angela Liebert and Angela McGaughey.
