Cobb Teen Arrested on Fraud Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Cobb County Sheriff's Office. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Northeast Cobb 17-year-old was jailed Tuesday afternoon on identity-theft charges.

Adam Ray Liu was arrested at 1 p.m. at his house in the 3700 block of Upland Drive.

He is charged with one count of first-degree forgery and two counts of financial identity fraud in connection with an incident March 3, according to records.

All of the charges are felonies.

Bond for Liu was set at $10,000, but he remained behind bars early this morning.

Under Georgia law, 17-year-olds always are treated as adults when charged with crimes.
