Cobb Police Join Task Force to Tackle Metal Thefts

Northeast Cobb has seen its share of metal theft crimes in the past year, usually involving the theft of air conditioning units from homes and businesses.

Law enforcement has created the Copperhead Metal Task Force to combat the increasing frequency of metal theft in North Metro Atlanta.

The , Cobb County Sheriff's Office and Cobb County School Police have teamed up with other Metro Atlanta law enforcement agencies to be part of the Copperhead Metal Task Force.
