Assault, Threats, DUI Charged in NE Cobb

The following Northeast Cobb arrest information came from the Cobb County Sheriff's Office and does not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Two women and a man who share the same address on Big Shanty Road in Northeast Cobb were arested, one after the other, between Saturday night and early Sunday:

  • Theresa Lynette Harrison, 52, was arrested at the house at 7 p.m. Saturday on charges of simple assault and using fighting words. She was released on $2,500 bond.
  • John Paul Jacoups, 31, was arrested at home at 8 p.m. Saturday on a charge of battery. He was released on $2,000 bond.
  • Amanda Kay Jacoups, 32, turned herself in at the at 1:30 a.m. Sunday on two charges of simple battery causing physical harm. She was released on $2,000 bond.

Also arrested Friday through Sunday in Northeast Cobb or living in Northeast Cobb, according to the booking records:

  • Casey Edward Evans, 27, of the 400 block of Highland Loop, Woodstock, was arrested about 3 a.m. Friday on Sandy Plains Road on charges of misdemeanor DUI, making an improper lane change and driving too fast for the conditions. He was released on $1,600 bond.
  • Michael Richard Bowes, 59, of the 4900 block of Shallow Creek Trail, Kennesaw, was arrested just after midnight Saturday at Bells Ferry and Piedmont roads and charged with DUI-drugs, improper lane change, failure to dim headlights, impeding the flow of traffic and not using due care as a driver. He was released on $2,200 bond.
  • Steven Wayne Pressley, 48, of the 500 block of Oakhurst Drive in Northeast Cobb was arrested at home at 12:45 p.m. Saturday on a felony charge of making terroristic threats. He was released on $5,000 bond.
  • Randolph Lee Andrews, 49, of the 1400 block of River Landing Way, Woodstock, was arrested at 4 p.m. Sunday at Highway 92 and Sandy Plains Road on charges of simple battery causing physical harm and simple assault. He’s being held without bond.
