What Petition Would You Like to File with the Obama White House?

On the official website of the White House is a facility opening a petition on any issue that you feel needs addressing. What would you like to petition the U.S. Government to do?

The Obama White House offers citizens the opportunity to file a petition on its official website. Several people have already opened petitions asking other people to join them in asking for a variety of issues to be considered by the administration. Included in those petitions gaining popularity are a couple relating to Japan’s territorial issues.

Closer to home, are a couple of petitions asking for mandatory labeling of genetically engineered food as well as a petition to prevent the FDA to regulate premium cigars. At last count, more than 30,500 people had digitally signed that petition. There also was a petition, garnering a little slower support, requesting that the state of Louisiana be allowed to peacefully withdraw from the United States of America and create its own new government.

Four years as president certainly improved his golf game.

How about George's game? I don't know b/c I was never a fan of his. And his wood chopping and land clearing and other stuff he did in his numerous escapes from D.C. I personally believe everyone deserves time away from the job, but the POTUS never truly has time away from the headaches and responsibilities. How many CEOs conduct business on the golf course? Not Mitt, though, too stiff. Doesn't mean he wouldn't have sound some other way to be away from D.C. if elected, like he did as Gov of Mass. Didn't he miss well over a full year away from that job?
