Georgia is home to some great food, so we've compiled a list of the best culinary adventures in the area that everyone should enjoy. The best part? You only need a tank of gas (or less) to get there.
Ladies Night Out at the Georgia Winery

Why Go? Grab your family and friends and experience an evening of wine and relaxation at the Georgia Winery. Enjoy wine and cheese pairings, live music by Lisa Ferguson and free massages.
Insider Tip: Limited tickets are available so be sure to purchase them in advance. Tickets include: two glasses of wine, three wine and cheese pairings , live music, pampering & door prizes.
Must Do: Relax in the Vineyard View Room while sipping your favorite sweet Southern Wine. Food will be available for purchase from featured food vendor: Magic Carpet Cafe.
The Fine Print: This event takes place on Jan. 24 from 6:30-8 p.m. Tickets cost $15 and can be bought online, in person or over the phone.
Bowdon Coffee Roasters

Why Go? Bowdon Coffee Roasters treat taste buds with coffee beans from around the world. Their blend of coffee is roasted on sight by experienced roasters.
Insider Tip: Browse their selection of gift baskets or wander through historic downtown Bowdon, also known as "The Friendly City."
Must Do: Be sure to check out the wide variety of teas and cold drinks on sale on Bowdon Coffee Roasters' lunch menu.
The Fine Print: Coffee is available by the pound or by the cup. By the pound prices range from $10.95-$13.95 per pound depending from where the beans are imported.
Sharp Mountain Vineyards

Why Go? Sharp Mountain, overlooking Jasper, GA, seems worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet on a clear day you can look down on Atlanta as well as Stone Mountain from its heights.
Insider Tip: Keep Sharp Mountain in mind for your next group party, meeting or small event, as hosting is one of Sharp Mountain Vineyards' specialties.
Must Do: Pack a picnic, enjoy a beautiful mountain drive and use the grill at the vineyard's pavilion while taking in the beautiful view of Sharp Mountain itself.
The Fine Print: Sharp Mountain Vineyards is open during January and February on Saturdays from noon-6 p.m. and 12:30-5 p.m. on Sundays.
DeBarge Vineyards and Winery

Why Go? Looking for a taste of the city with the relaxation of the country? A trip across the Tennessee state line to DeBarge Vineyards and Winery in Chattanooga can bring those two worlds together.
Insider Tip: Compare the wines back to back or choose just one to taste before you buy it. When you’ve made your choice, wines are sold by the bottle within the tasting room. There is no charge for admission to the tasting room.
Must Do: Enjoy the wines with friends in an outdoor gazebo behind the building or in the wine lounge located in the events center. Within the tasting bar, DeBarge also sells local artisan products such as cheese from Sequatchie Cove, Niedlov’s bread and Benton’s cured meats.
The Fine Print: The tasting bar is closed on Mondays but open from 1-6 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and on Sunday. It is open from 1-8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
