The Highland Pointe subdivision is, according to Google maps, approximately 25.2 miles to the city center of Atlanta, 12 miles to Alpharetta, and 7.8 miles to the heart of Roswell.

The community is relatively large, consisting of 451 homes. Neighborhood amenities include a neighborhood pool overlooking a lake, tennis courts, playground, and clubhouse with exercise facilities. The community also has several social events for children and adults alike. The award winning schools that serve this neighborhood are , , and . There are numerous private school options nearby as well.

Homes in Highland Pointe were built from 1985-2001 and typically sell in the mid $300's. That said, Highland Pointe has some of the best mountain lots in North Atlanta with incredibly luxurious homes. Those can fetch a price several hundred thousand more.

Neighborhood turnover is less than 4.5 percent per year. Architectural styles vary and include traditional brick, soft contemporary, Victorian, French, and European stucco.
