Cobb residents are invited to attend the 2013 Neighborhood Summit in September.
The event is hosted by The Neigborhood Fund, an initiative of the
Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, and is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The summit will be held at Lodermilk Center for the Regional Community,
40 Courtland St., Atlanta. This year's theme is "Celebrating One Region:
Sharing Ideas, Places and Spaces."
Activities will include workshops, curbside consulting and
exhibitors that focus on the region's connectivity while celebrating
the rich diversity.
All are invited to attend, especially neighborhood
and community leaders, activitists, associations and community members.
Cost is $25 for general admission, $15 for students, seniors and groups of
