Father Delivers Baby at Shell Gas Station with Help of E911 

Brynlee Josephine Favia was welcomed into the world on Friday morning, Feb. 1, at 6:05 a.m. and delivered in the parking lot of the Shell gas station on Post Road in Douglasville by her father, Brandon.

Brandon started the delivery with the assistance and direction over the phone with Douglas County E911 Operator Amanda Weathers while E911 Operators Becky Radford and Daisy Millsap dispatched the call. Read more on Douglasville Patch.

Causes of Death Determined in Johns Creek Murder-Suicide

The causes of death in the apparent murder-suicide that claimed the lives of a family of four in a Johns Creek apartment complex were hanging, injury by sharp objects and blunt force trauma, said Police Chief Ed Densmore on Tuesday.

Atlanta Fire Fighters responded early Tuesday morning to a call of an abandoned building on fire near the edge of Southwest Atlanta.

Unidentified Man Struck and Killed By Train in Peachtree Corners

A man was struck and killed by a Norfolk Southern freight train Monday afternoon. The accident occurred on the 6900 block of Buford Highway in the City of Peachtree Corners.
