Tucker Store Owner Robbed, Beaten With Sledgehammer 

Reports are coming in of a violent attack Wednesday night in Tucker which has left a convenience store owner badly injured and in hospital.

"Mr. Patel was severely beaten with a sledgehammer," long-time customer Denise Pounds told Patch. "I went in to the store this morning and the day manager informed us of the tragedy. She is very upset. She said three black men came into the store and proceeded to ask for money and then began beating him for no reason as they knew where the cash register is." Reaction To Elderly Woman's Eviction: 'These People Are Fools'

People are reacting strongly to Hairston Lake Apartments sending an eviction notice to an elderly resident because she burned her dinner.

Two Gwinnett Area Mothers To Appear on ABC's 'Shark Tank' 

The ABC hit TV show "Shark Tank" could be the answer to a dream for two Loganville moms - but we will have to wait until Feb. 22 to find out whether it was or not.

"We've been waiting seven long months to share the news with our family and friends," said Brooke Bryant, of Loganville. She is co-owner of Addison's Wonderland, an Atlanta-based children's bedding company. "My business partner, Brittany Hayes (owner/designer), and I are excited to share that we will be appearing on the ABC television show "Shark Tank" on Friday, Feb. 22, at 9 p.m."
