5. Magic Mondays at the Atlanta History Center are back starting Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. This was one of my favorite monthly programs when my daughter was in preschool—something I am going to truly miss now that she is in kindergarten. Enjoy the special program designed for kids 18 months to 5 years old, then walk the beautiful Connor Brown Discovery Trail. You can now purchase tickets online, but it's OK just to show up. Read my Beyond Cobb feature to learn more about bringing kids to the Atlanta History Center.

6. There's a new chef in town—Young Chef's Academy in Northeast Cobb—and it is offering a "First Class" special of just $15. Find the full details on its website, but don't delay: The promotion ends Sept. 15. You have until March to use your "First Class" pass. The new location is on Chastain Meadows Parkway. Check out all the fun they are having on Facebook!

7. My Cobb Kids and I are waiting on the edge of our seats for the new "jumpy" place to open. Catch Air of Northeast Cobb takes the indoor playground to a whole new level. It's not your usual inflatable play center. The have finished their construction and are just waiting for their inspections to be complete, so they will be ready any day. Catch Air are is located on Chastain Meadows Parkway. Follow the Northeast Cobb location on Facebook.

Let me help you find more fun around town. Follow Cobb Tots & Kids on Facebook and find our calendar on our website.
