Cobb County Events This Week: Aug. 20-24

There are tons of things to see and do this week.

Perhaps the mild weather has you wanting to enjoy the outdoors, or you have some time off of work or away from the kids that you'd like to spend out doing something. Cobb County has a litany of events going on this week for you to watch and particpate in.

Tuesday

  • At 2:00, the Cobb Alcohol Task Force is meeting at the Sheriff's Work Release Office at 1825 County Services Pkwy.   • The 's Calendar Committee Meets at 2:00 p.m. at the Central Office Board Room on 514 Glover St. in Marietta. Tensions have historically run high when it comes to Cobb and its school calendar. Don't let your voice go unheard.

Thursday

  • Broadway comes to Cobb Counry with The fun starts at 8:00 p.m. at Jennie T. Anderson Theater at 548 S. Marietta Pkwy.

Friday

  • The Cobb County Classic Rodeo will stampede in to starting at 8 p.m. on Friday and lasting until Saturday. There will be seven events each night! Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children over five.
