Town Center Stores Get Facelift

Belk, one of the mall's five anchor stores, has reopened this week.

Officials Wednesday celebrated the grand reopening of one of Town Center at Cobb's five anchor stores.

They cut the ribbon on Belk, which has undergone extensive interior renovations, during an exclusive event.

"Shoppers will experience a fully updated store interior along with enhanced retail offerings," according to a release from the mall.

Belk isn't Town Center's only upgrade. The mall has announced a number of other changes.

Johns Creek retailer Macrobatix, which specializes in all things Apple, recently . The addition of Macrobatix will create 12 to 15 new jobs.

And Forever 21 next Saturday will unveil its expanded 23,000-square-foot space on the lower level Macy's wing. Previously 6,000 square feet, the new space will feature apparel and accessories from Forever 21 as well as its other brands. 

The first 200 people in line by 10 a.m. Oct. 20 will receive a free gift card. Two winners will receive one of the season’s hottest outfits, valued up to $150, on grand opening day.

“Our goal is to continually provide the best mix of stores for our shoppers,” said John “JD” DiCioccio, general mall manager for Town Center at Cobb. “Over the past year, a number of well-respected retailers have opened in the mall, and we’re thrilled to maintain that momentum into the holiday season with the addition of Macrobatix along with the completion of major renovations at Belk and Forever 21.”
