If you can’t get out of your house, try www.NotaryNow.com. They offer electronic notary services using a webcam.  Co-Founder Andrew Ellis says companies love it because they can get a video file of the person signing the document to avoid fraud situations. Clients like it because it’s easy and they can simply email the notarized document to their attorney, etc. as soon as it is signed. Services are available from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. The cost is $14.99 per signature.

Several banks on the list are limited as to what kind of papers they can notarize as they do not want to be called out as witnesses in court. Call your bank in advance to make sure they can sign the documents you have. I went to SunTrust today and the notary there said they will notarize any kind of document... at no charge.
