CarMax, AFLAC, Gate Gourmet Recruiting

You have three chances next week to talk to employers recruiting workers in Northeast Cobb with the help of the Georgia Department of Labor.

All of the recruiting sessions next week will be at the department's at 465 Big Shanty Rd.:

• CarMax Auto Finance will conduct information sessions about the company while looking to fill customer service positions Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can apply at carmaxautofinance.com/jobs before or during the recruitment.
• AFLAC will recruit commission sales associates Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon. Be sure to bring your resume. The job requires daily travel, so you'll need a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Sales experience is not necessary; enthusiasm and a professional appearance are.
• Gate Gourmet will recruit catering workers for the airline industry Thursday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to noon. You need a resume, a high school diploma or the equivalent, and at least a year of professional driving experience. You also must be able to lift 75 pounds of equipment and supplies. Be prepared for a criminal background check and a drug-screening test if you're selected.
