Bites Nearby: Vincent’s Italian Restaurant

Sometimes the most tedious part of dining out is figuring where to dine out. Patch makes it easy every Thursday; we find great restaurants for you. This week: Vincent's Italian Restaurant.

Overview: Attention Italian Food Lovers! Vincent’s Italian Restaurant on Barrett Parkway serves a bottomless salad bowl and awesome bottomless garlic and butter-drenched rolls. Let me say those are just two little reasons to dine at this New York-style Italian family restaurant. The soft lighting, wonderful aromas and the presence of Rocky, Vincent’s owner, make you feel like you are right in Little Italy. Especially delectable entrée choices are the lemon picatta, veal parmigiana and seafood alfredo. Kids love the New York style pizza.  Try to make room for a slice of the chocolate cake–it is moist, rich and...heavenly. Go for the Early Bird Special and get soup, salad, entrée and dessert for under $10. Mama Mia!

Décor:  The interior is a mix of deep reds and dark woods, a comfortable atmosphere for a family or group, yet perfect for a romantic, intimate dinner (think bottle of good red wine, soft lighting …) or any special occasion.

The Drinks: Vincent’s bar has character, elegant and comfortable at the same time. An extensive wine list offers a choice for every taste and budget. Oh, and Rocky’s son makes a mean Bloody Mary—not something you’d expect at an Italian Restaurant.
