Youth Camps at The Art Place

Registration is underway for July sessions of the Curtain Call Youth Players.

Curtain Call Youth Players camps will be held at this summer for children is grades kindergarten through 12th grade.

Participants will experience adventures in acting, dancing, singing and teamwork, creating a final performance for family and friends. Campers will perform a short play at the end of each camp to display their talents.

High school master classes will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m., July 2-6. Experienced instructors will cover playwriting, improvisation, stage combat and acting for film. The cost is $50 per session, or $175 for all four.

Elementary Playhouse will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m., July 16-20 for rising third through fifth graders. Participants will enter the "Court of King Arithmetic," where he, his numeral court and his daughters, the princesses Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division teach young children that math is important and fun. The camp is $199.
