Student-Artists Enjoy Clay Camp

Art Place Mountain View ends a camp and helps students discover the arts.

The Art Place - Mountain View's Clay Camp, a summer camp held every week for most of July and once or twice a month for the less experienced artists and clay sculptors.

Students got a chance to complete different sculptures and take them home as a remembrance of Clay Camp, the friends they made, and the experiences they shared. The camps are a unique experience and learning tool for students.

The Elementary Clay Camp (ages 7 - 9) lasted for one week while the Experience Clay (ages 4 - 6) and the Clay Creations Mom and Me (ages 2 - 3) lasted for one day. for one day.

The Clay Camp instructors include Stephanie Olson, Brandallyn Tihinen, Marilyn Synder, Sarah Camillo Lekas, Michelle Yoo, Erica Gordon, Vanessa Sebastian, Janet Suarez, Nancy Jordan and Darra Jannuzzo. Assistants: Kelly Wright, Anita Hung, Anna, Guerkink, Chelsea Foster, Shannon Franz, and Emilie DelValle. Elizabeth Mayne and William Millhorn, and Interns Neely Moss and Jessica Intner helped campers in the classrooms as well.
