November Authors Events at the Book Exchange

While these special events are free, attendees are asked to please donate a new or gently-used children’s or young adult book to the Book Exchange’s 7th annual Holiday Book Drive that runs until December 16th.

Thursday, November 7, 6:30 – 8:00 pm: Reception and book signing for award winning Atlanta writer Romily Bernard, who recently debuted her first book, the popular YA novel, Find Me. Fans of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy will enjoy this creepy and alluring teen thriller. Complete with action, techie intrigue, a horrifying mystery, and a blossoming romance full of sparks, Find Me is an exhilarating debut. It won a 2012 Golden Heart Award and placed first in the 2011 YA Unpublished Maggie Awards (given by Georgia Romance Writers).

Monday, November 11, 6:00 pm: Author Ann Hite will lead the Book Exchange book club’s discussion of her latest release, The Storycatcher, a follow up to her Ghost on Black Mountain, which won her the 2012 Georgia Author of the Year Award. A haunting gothic novel set in the Depression-era South, The Storycatcher is the second in her Black Mountain series, and tells of two young women who form an unlikely alliance when the spirit of a dead woman takes up residence in their home.
