Get Out: Wine Tasting, Pet Adoption, Comedy Show

It's Friday, the weekend is here, and you have no idea what to do. At Northeast Cobb Patch, we have compiled the best bets for a great weekend.

1) Lawrence of Arabia, a 1962 movie, was meant to be seen on the big screen for one simple reason: its breathtaking cinematography. The spell-binding biography of a WWI hero, Lawrence of Arabia comes close to perfection in the realms of cinematography, score, script, and performances, and will be brought to the , for the first time this summer. Live organ pops variety show and sing-along featuring The Strand’s Mighty Allen Theatre Organ at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for children, students, and seniors. Show starts at 8 p.m.

2.) It's Adoption Day Saturday at Pet Supermarket, in Publix Shopping Center in Marietta. Come out and enjoy the summer while meeting our adoptable angels, and perhaps your new best friend. The adoptions will be from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at
Pet Supermarket
1100 Johnson Ferry Rd., Marietta, 30068
