Cobb Park Photos Could Win Awards

Break out your cameras for the seventh annual Fun in the Park Photo Contest.

As you’re headed out the door this summer to the parks of Cobb County, don’t forget to take your camera—it could lead to you winning an award from Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.

The seventh annual Fun in the Park Photo Contest consists of three categories: general category (basically any picture taken at a park), sports and action, and nature and wildlife. For each category, awards are given to pictures receiving first, second and third place, as well as those receiving an honorable mention.

Up to 10 entries per person can be submitted for free from any county park facility, activity or event. Pictures taken off park property but during a county-sponsored park program or event will be accepted. Pictures from national parks including Kennesaw Mountain and Chattahoochee River are excluded.
