Zumbathon Benefit at St. Andrew

The Nov. 5 event will benefit the Cobb County School District Area 4 Needy Family Fund.

The Northeast Cobb public is invited to a Zumbathon charity event on Nov. 5 to raise funds for needy students.

The event takes place starting at 5 p.m. at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 3445 Canton Road, in the Fellowship Hall. Plus, you can get a jump start on preventing those holiday pounds.

All proceeds go to the school social work needy family fund in Cobb Counthy School District's Area 4. Babysitting will be available so bring the kids. Make a reservation by emailing.

The cost is $7 for presale tickets; $10 at the door. Pledge forms to collect donations from generous friends and family available via email.

Donations greater than ticket prices will be accepted to help students with emergency day care costs, shut off utilities, car repairs, medical expenses, and other crisis situations that prevent student achievement and parental independence in the community. Tax receipts will be available for donating pledgers.
