World's First Dog Fitted With Four Prosthetic Legs

Naki'o can run, jump, and play like any other dog with four prosthetic legs.

According to incrediblefeatures, Naki'o had very severe frostbite after putting his paws in a frozen puddle as an abandoned puppy. Malnourished and weak he probably did not move from that spot for some time. As a result the tissue of the paws became 'dead' and he could not use them. This dead tissue was removed by a vet once Naki'o was rescued. A woman named Christie adopted him. She sawο»Ώ that walking on his legs without the formed paws was growing more painful and difficult for him, and contacted Orthopets who made the prosthetic legs.
