3. Woodlawn Drive will be closed to through traffic between Lower Roswell Road and Tiger Lily Way until Aug. 12 so the Marietta Water Authority can install a waterline. Be certain to read our Road Work feature today to learn about other road construction. You might want to adjust your route.

5. The AJC reports that our area may face a new air quality standard. It took more than a decade for the Atlanta area to meet the 1997 ozone standard; however, the region could fall back out of compliance under a more stringent guideline being considered by the Environmental Protection Agency, according to the AJC.
