Santa, Cobb Christmas Distribution, 'Cabaret' and 'White Christmas'

"White Christmas" at the Strand Theatre, Santa's Workshop on Marietta Square, Cobb Christmas Distribution at Jim Miller Park and Next Stage's "Cabaret."

More holiday-related activities are on tap once again this weekend in Marietta and around Cobb:

1. The Atlanta Lyric Theatre will present “White Christmas” on Dec. 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 9, 16, 22 and 23 at 2 p.m. at the Strand Theatre. Music and Lyric by Irving Berlin, Libretto by David Ives and Paul Blake. Based on the beloved Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye film, this merry musical tells the tale of two famous song-and-dance men who stage a show in a scenic, snow-topped Vermont inn and end up finding love with two singing sisters under the mistletoe.

2. Santa’s Workshop will be open to visitors Dec. 15, 16, 22 and 23. Be sure to have your picture taken with Santa.

Hours: Saturdays: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sundays: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Christmas Eve: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

3. The Cobb Christmas Distribution at Jim Miller Park takes place Dec. 14 through Dec. 16.

4. "Cabaret" is Next Stage’s alternative to traditional holiday theatrical presentations. "Cabaret" is a haunting musical about life, love, the search for identity, and the desire for a place to belong. The production will be presented at the Alley Stage Theatre on Marietta Square through Dec. 31. Learn more here.
