Northeast Cobb's Atlanta Metro Singles is hosting a very special singles event, and hopes that you will join the fun.

This selfless couple had adopted and raised six "special-needs" children to take care of as their own for over 20 years. Not having much themselves (broken down van, no electricity in the main bedroom, and the husband lost his job over a year and a half ago), the couple still poured their hearts out to their children always putting them first. A month or so ago, the husband and wife decided to take a weekend vacation. Tragically, the wife had a stroke while on vacation and passed away. The husband is not only dealing with the grief of losing his wife, but is the sole provider and caretaker for the six special-needs children.
Atlanta Metro Singles is hosting a fundraising event for The Stark Family on Thursday from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. at The Park Bench Neighborhood Pub in Buckhead.

Suggested donation of $10 will get you admission. 100 percent of proceeds will go directly to The Stark Family.
Enjoy complimentary light appetizers and live entertainment by Patrick Scott. Drink specials include $3 domestic beers, $4 import beers, $4 well drinks, $5 premium drinks, $5 house wines, and $5 margaritas.
Park Bench will donate 5 percent of the gross bar revenues to The Stark Family.
The Park Bench Neighborhood Pub is located at 34 Irby Ave, NE in Atlanta. There is limited free parking, but plenty of paid parking lots.
Rollin' on the River Dance Party
Wildlife, nature trails and family fun may come to mind when you think of the , but this Saturday at 7 p.m. Single Life Georgia is hosting a non-alcohol 'Rollin on the River' dance.
Meet over two hundred new friends and enjoy dancing under the stars on the Hooch to music from the 60's to modern day.

$10 cash admission. $2 sodas and water.
Dress casual. Dress jeans are okay. When in doubt, dress to impress.
