Rain or Shine Sales

Check out these Northeast Cobb-area bargain hunters' bonanzas this weekend.

I like to bicycle. Last weekend I went to a few garage sales in Northeast and East Cobb, and I was happy to find gently used bicycle gear. I found bicycle shorts and tops, and a tire pump.

An older man heard me talking to the homeowner at a yard sale about fishing. He pointed out "an ugly stick" (fishing pole) for $2. He said, "Young lady, that is an excellent rod and reel for $2. If you are serious about fishing, you can't pass that up." I thanked him for the advice and bought it.

No matter your hobby or interest, chances are you'll find something you can use and enjoy at local garage sales.
