2. Board of Commissioners zoning hearing. 9 a.m. BOC Room, second floor, 100 Cherokee St.

3. Georgia Department of Labor staff hosts second of three-part job search workshop. 11 a.m. Powder Springs Library, 4181 Atlanta St., Building 1, Powder Springs. Guidance and referral to federal training programs will be provided. Georgia Career Information System will also be discussed. 4. Love gardening and horticulture? Need a job? Pike Nurseries is hiring 150 employees. Applicants with a green thumb and strong desire to help customers are encouraged to apply for a position with the largest independent garden retailer.
