Indian Hills Country Club Community Sale

I had a great yard sale find last weekend. I bought a dining room table with sculptured stone base and beveled glass top for $100 (plus $40 to have it delivered). My friend visited my home and said that the same table is sold at a department store for $1500. We found the table online, and yes, the table retails for about $1500.

So,  get out to the community sales because you never know what bargains await you.

1. Housewares, decorator items, children's toys, games and clothes, adult clothes, knick knacks, electronics, and much more. All proceeds to benefit the Atlanta 2 Day Walk, a breast cancer charity. Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. 1646 Hampton Oaks Bend.

2. Churchill Falls subdivision garage sale. Families are selling something for everyone. Some of the items include: kids toys and clothes, small kitchen appliances, clothes, glass ware, flatware, bedding, jewelry, tools, household items, and much more. Saturday only from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Located in East Cobb off of Bryant Ln between Sandy Plains and Shallowford Road.

3. Town Center Community Church is having its annual yard sale with typical yard sale items from lots of church members: kitchen, household, furniture, yard, toys, movies, books, etc. Hundreds of plants for sale including impatiens, petunias, pansies, daylilies, japanese holly, rudbeckias, salvia, marigolds, tomatoes, and more. All proceeds benefit the Missions Team & Youth. Sale is Saturday only, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Town Center Community Church, 1040 Blackwell Road.  On I-75 or I-575, take the Chastain Rd exit and turn east. Chastain Road will cross Canton Hwy and become Blackwell Rd. The church is about 1/2 mile on the right, just before the RR tracks.

4. Indian Hills Country Club is having a Community Wide Garage Sale this Saturday, April 16 from 8am-4pm. We have over 1600 homes in the neighborhood. We are located in East Cobb near Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. We also are near Roswell Rd and Johnson Ferry Road. See you there!

5. Glenside and Sadlers Walk subdivision multi-family garage sale. Designer women's clothes, shoes, and accessories, household items, computer printer, office supplies, furniture, collectibles, planters, yard stuff and lots more. Saturday only, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 3624 Sadlers Walk. Glenside and Sadlers Walk subdivision is off Robinson Road. Rain date: April 30.
