Help Cure Breast Cancer

Attend a 3-Day for the Cure get started meeting at Mountain View Regional Library March 15.

Individuals interested in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure can RSVP for tonight's Get Started meeting.

Join the thousands who will be walking 60 miles to help end breast cancer for good. 

Individuals who participate in the 3-Day in 2011 must:

  • Turn 16 by December 31, 2011
  • Raise $2,300 in order to walk
  • Have health insurance at the time of the race
  • Be prepared to walk and camp in any kind of weather

Each night, participants will sleep in a two person tent. (The 3-Day crew carries your gear for you). Enjoy entertainment, stories, food and new friends at camp. 

The 3-Day will be held at 14 different locations around America between July and November. The Atlanta 3-Day will be October 21-23. Registration fees are $25 off through March 31.

The Get Started meeting at will begin at 6 p.m. Get information and inspiration as you join the team fighting to cure breast cancer.

Register for the 3-Day online. However, by registering at the Get Started meeting, you will also receive a promise ring and tools to get started. 

Volunteers and crew members are needed throughout the 3-Day event.  There are no fees or fundraising requirements for volunteers. Bring your friends and learn more at the 6 p.m. meeting.
