Gobble Jog Raises Money for Needy

10,000 runners are expected to participate in the Thanksgiving Day fundraiser.

Registration is now open for the Gobble Jog to be held Thanksgiving Day.

The Gobble Jog raises the funds that enable to provide food, shelter, clothing and other services for individuals and families needing assistance or who are in crisis.

The 2011 event is expected to be the largest to date and will draw thousands who will run or walk in the 10K, 5K, 1K and Tot Trot races that originate and finish at the Marietta Square. The Gobble Jog is certified as a qualifier for seeding in the Peachtree Road Race and the US 10K Classic.
