Garage Sales You Don't Want to Miss

What is it that we love most about estate, garage and yard sales? I enjoy seeing other people's stuff. It's interesting to discover new objects, tools, jewelry and things that other people can tell you about.

The bargains - can't beat'em. Where else can you buy something of quality for less than a dollar?

Grab a friend and embark on a fun-filled day of sale hopping.

1. Multi-family sale in the Indian Hills subdivision. Large mahogany cabinets, for bar and electronics; Kenmore washer and GE electric dryer, leather glider rocking chair with glider ottoman, king size bedding set, pillows, two Powerwheels (two seaters, need new batteries); bookshelves, white wicker trunk, air hockey table, sofa, lamps, TVs, books, marble top iron base table, some antiques, lots of smalls, antique quilting frames, pictures and paintings, dog house, and 10 inch kicker subs with JBL amps and box. 3060 Brookview Drive. Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

2. Multi-family yard sale in Northeast Cobb. Kids clothes and toys, electronics, designer purses, home decor, clothing, and too much to list. Friday and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. 381 Kurtz Road.

3. Yard and home sale Saturday 7:30 a.m. - noon. Wall pictures and mirrors, furniture, accent pillows, misc decorating items, seasonal items and much more. Most items like new. Items too big to lug outside will be inside. 608 Wynne's Ridge Circle. Condo community. Wynne's Ridge Circle is off Terrell Mill, 2/10 of a mile from the Powers Ferry Intersection. There will not be any signs, except on the door.

4. House sale Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day. The sale includes everything you can imagine, from go-karts to jewelry, and furniture to electronics. 562 Birney Street.

5. Huge sale Friday 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.(no early birds, please). Saturday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Everything has to be sold...retiring and downsizing. Entertainment center, bookcases, very nice computer hutch, lots of womens' clothes size 10-16, working TVs (not flat screen), kitchen items, lots of Christmas items, table and chairs (Ikea), Syracuse china (Old Ivory, gold rim), Ikea triple door wardrobes, wall mirror, battery wall clocks, cut glass, etc. 5041 Trickum Road NE (corner of Trickum and Jamerson).
