Friends of Mabry Park Meeting

Gather around the water cooler to discuss hot topics and what's happening today, April 19.

1. The Book Exchange will host a reception for Georgia Writers Hall of Fame inductee Terry Kay to celebrate the release of his latest novel, Bogmeadows Wish. He chronicles the journey of Cooper Coghlan and the people he encounters as he tries to fulfill his grandfather's wish to have his cremains scattered to the wind in Ireland. $5 entry fee. 6:30 p.m. Book Exchange, 2956 Canton Road. 4. Friends of Mabry Park is having a public meeting tonight to gain public input about the park's development. Have an idea for the park? Attend the meeting and let your voice be heard.
