Free Seminar on ADD/ADHD

Gather around the water cooler to discuss what's happening in Northeast Cobb today, May 5.

1. Following a recent article about the land-use application by Snapfinger Properties, LLC/Marietta Recycling to operation a metal scrap yard on Canton Road, a neighbor commented that Thomas Concrete of Georgia, Inc. needs to plant trees or erect a screen along Canton Road. Do you agree?

2. Do you follow high school soccer, lacrosse or other sports? Northeast Cobb Patch highlights what's happening with the Daily Prep Report, but we'd love to have a parent, athlete, coach or fan create a blog about a favorite team. Whether you're a coach, player, booster, parent or fan, if you attend a game, you can create a blog and update it with posts about the final score, highlights, stats, photos, videos, etc. It's a great way to share with your friends and neighbors. For information on how to create a blog, contact me at julia.harris@patch.com.

3. Today is Cinco De Mayo. Before you break out the chips, salsa and margaritas, here's what the celebration is about:
