Family Fun Before the Super Bowl

Fun activities that won't interfere with Super Bowl plans.

Are you ready to get out of the house following our latest winter weather? Northeast Cobb Patch has compiled fun ideas that will entertain the kids and not interfere with Super Bowl plans.

The weather is so unpredictable this time of year, so indoor and outdoor suggestions are listed.

A Guided Nature Hike would be the perfect way to get some exercise, educate children about nature and animals, and enjoy the sun. Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC) docent guides you on a journey through the trails using biofacts and activities to spark you and your child's “natural” curiosity. 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.

At 2 p.m. take part in the hour Creature Feature:Outstanding Owls. Discover what makes these raptors so outstanding.  Did you know that February marks the beginning of  breeding season for some owls?  You and the kids can warm up in the Discovery Center and visit with a CNC non-releasable owl.
