3. The Reluctant Debutante
When/Where: Saturday 7 p.m. and Sunday 2:30 p.m. The Stellar Cellar, St. James Episcopal Church, 161 Church Street.
Why go: You enjoy live theatre. This play is about young girls being forced into high society in efforts to find a suitable husband.
Price: $20 including dinner Saturday; $10 Sunday matinee.
4. Moonlight and Magnolias by Ron Hutchinson
When/Where: 3330 Sandy Plains Road.
Why go: You need to be a fan of bananas and peanuts which play a central role in this attempt to fix the screenplay of Gone With the Wind.

5. The Godfather
When/Where: Friday 8 p.m.; , 117 N Park Sq NE, Marietta.
Why go: You enjoy classics. This three-time Academy Award winning mob-drama is performed live on stage.
Price: $8 for adults and $7 students 17 and older, and seniors. Buy tickets online.
